“Georg Christoph Lichtenberg, a German philosopher from the 18th Century, said: ‘the most entertaining surface on earth is the human face’. It’s the same case for me. Everywhere I am I look at human faces and the interest for me to photograph is the human face and nearly nothing else. My passion changed from photography to film because in film I could have a continuum of changing shots and changing emotions, which is very interesting to me.”
