Los otros formatos del cine en Galicia llegan a la cárcel

Hoy jueves a mediodía se presentó, en convocatoria abierta al público y a la prensa, la sección del (S8) “Otros formatos del cine en Galicia”. A la presentación acudieron Xurxo Taxes y Anxela Caramés, comisarios de la muestra “Acciones y delirios en 8mm. Galicia 1975-85″, protagonista del apartado de “Cine recuperado”, Ignacio Pardo, artista representado en esta muestra, y José Manuel Sande, del CGAI, quien se encargó de presentar el ciclo de artistas gallegas que compone el apartado “Hoxe” de la sección.

Philharmonic Orchestra of Pontevedra, directed by Javier Viceiro, offered a touching interpretation of the original score, and it was a wonderful accompaniment to those amazing frames. This powerful combination won the soul of the audience. And it also was a perfect opening for these four upcoming days when the Old Provincial Prison of La Coruña will be taken by the most stimulating of experimental and peripheral cinema.

Duo Cobra, an unclassifiable and flamboyant Spanish pop band, will be at the Contemporary Super 8 (S8) hand in hand with the artist who made their hyptotic video clips, La Follable.
