Scott Stark: The rule of the game

Taking the same essence and properties of the material with which he works and turning them into a playing field, Scott Stark has built his work (which is about 90 films besides installations, collage and performance) in which each of the items that compose it are made according to a revealing premise: “I like to set up a situation, give it some parameters, and see what happens”, says Stark. These are the rules of the game that Stark invents, but which are nothing more than a starting point towards an experimentation without limits and without complexes, the one which opens the windows and lets chance pass by.
